Welcome back. We hope you had a wonderful Christmas and are ready for a new term.
In literacy we are reading the story of 'Fortunately, the milk.' The children will be writing their own version of the story and using their knowledge of adjectives, adverbs and prepositions to make their stories interesting.
In science the children will be finding out about forces and magnets. We will be investigating different forces, friction and different types of magnets. This will lead up to children designing and making their own magnetic game.
Our Topic is the artist Andy Warhol and how his work changed the art world. We will be learning about different printing techniques and hopeful will have a visit from a local artist!
Don't forget to make sure your child has their reading record signed every day and in school so they can get their reading certificates.
