Welcome to the Mulberry Bush
Teacher: Miss Cox
TA's: Miss Laker and Miss Twyman
Welcome back to another term of exciting learning. We are really enjoying our new topic 'This is Me'. We have created our own family trees and are learning about what makes us special and unique. To support our learning we are finding out about health and hygiene and how to look after ourselves. This has included: oral hygiene, washing our hands properly and healthy eating.
We have also been learning about life-cycles: through looking after and observing our tadpoles ( Luke Skywalker, Taddy, Hector and Flower, to name but a few). Some have now become froglets and we are looking forward to watching them evolve in to frogs. We are taking good care of them, we clean them out, feed them and talk to them every day.
We continue to go horse riding on Wednesday afternoons and the children love to see Roadie, Smarties, Bea, Lola and the firm favourite Henry! The children love to explore the stables and chase the cats, when they are not busy trekking around St Peters on horseback, looking for landmarks.
2. look both ways
4. think....is it safe to cross?
The children were brilliant at being safe and mastered the zebra crossing too.
