The following lessons are based on instruction writing. Please don't feel you have to complete the whole lesson in one go. Holly and Elm class remember to plan out your writing and edit as you go. Audible are making some of their audiobooks available for free without any need to create an account. Follow the link to find a book to listen to and enjoy at home. https://stories.audible.com/start-listen

Once you have chosen and listened to a story you could complete some of these activities:

  • Write a book report which includes all the important information about the book, a short summary and what you liked or didn’t like about the story.
  • Draw a comic book version, using direct speech in speech bubbles.
  • Write your own version of the story, maybe changing the characters or the ending!
