We have now set up a Google Classroom for your children to access. You will have received an email address and password for your child. If you require the class code please can you email your class teacher.
We hope you are all safe and well. You will find attached a Termly teaching plan which will give you some suggestions of what to teach across the different curriculum subjects. These are basic outlines giving you the freedom to teach it in whichever form that you choose. If you are unsure of what any of the learning objectives are then please contact Miss Bichard or Miss Adelsberg using our class emails and we will be more than happy to help.
We understand that some of you may be experiencing difficulty in making your child do any work, please do not worry but try to find a way that will engage them in a meaningful learning experience. The work that you can do to develop your child's social and emotional development during this time is huge. You can nourish their well-being through physical activities and develop their confidence and language development through the conversations and interactive experiences that you share.
There are some useful teaching PowerPoints and activities attached that you can use. These are particularly designed to support your child's literacy development as they have all been working so hard to apply the new skills and knowledge they have acquired.
It is vital that you help your child to maintain the progress that they have been making and I would like to thank you in the steps you are taking to ensure this.
Half-term Homework Challenges
As you'll know, we set a series of challenges every half term or longer holiday break for children to complete at home. Below are the links for the half term challenges for Term 5 and Term 6 for you to complete with your children to keep them engaged with their learning.
