Africa- Continuous

Term five sees us learning all about Africa. We will be learning lots of different and interesting things about the World's second largest continent!

We will be learning about the geographical features of Africa, such as the countries which are part of this continent, languages which are spoken there and animals which live there.

We will also be looking at the history of Africa and key people such as Nelson Mandela.

Throughout the term we will be thinking about how people live in Africa and the differences and similarities between countries within the same continent.

What is a continent?

What countries are in Africa?

How many countries are in Africa?

Who is Nelson Mandela? Why is he famous?
