Djembe Drumming

Today we had a visit from Rich from Rich Rhythms. He brought his djembe drums from Burkina Faso in Africa to show us. We all learnt how to play different tunes on the djembe drum. We even had a dance party to a traditional African song.

Here are some of our pictures:

Diwali

We have been learning about the Hindu festival of Diwali. This is also known as the festival of light. We have made diva lamps and learnt the story of Rama and Sita. We designed and made our own Rangoli patterns.
