We will also link our art lessons to our core text and experiment with leave printing, woodland collages and clay modelling.
In maths we will use number facts within 20 to solve number problems and learn how to read the time using the terms, o'clock and half past.
In preparation for World book day, we had a visit from author, Gwyneth Rees. She explained how she created good characters and then read extracts from her books. We all felt very inspired to write after her visit!
On World book day, we came dressed as our favourite book character. Who would you dress up as?
